The wind aggregates at locations 7 and 8 of the Podveležje wind farm produced during the testing phase the first kilowatts of electricity delivered to the connection grid as posted by the portal Energetika-net.
The wind farm Podveležje with a capacity of 48 MW is located 10 kilometers east of Mostar and will have a total of 15 wind aggregates with an estimated production of approximately 130 GW annually. The contractors are the consortium Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Croatia and Wind Power A/S from Denmark,
The value of the investment is about 83 million EUR and the construction is financed through a loan from the German Development Bank, KfW, and from funds of the Electrical Power Industry of Bosnia and Hercegovina (EPBiH).
