The Renewable Energy Days (RES Days) conference<\/strong> was held in Pula from June 12 to 14, 2024, at the Park Plaza Histria Hotel, bringing together over 400 participants who had the opportunity to attend nine presentations and nine panels<\/strong> featuring 56<\/strong> international and domestic experts from the energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference, organized by Renewable Energy Sources Croatia (RESC) under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy<\/a>, the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Property<\/a>, Istria County<\/a>, the European Investment Bank<\/a>, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development<\/a>, WindEurope<\/a>, SolarPower Europe<\/a>, and the European Biogas Association<\/a>, attracted relevant experts from both the public and private sectors, as well as high representatives of national and international institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Institutional partners supporting the conference included the City of Pula<\/a>, the Pula Tourist Board<\/a>, the Croatian Transmission System Operator (HOPS)<\/a>, the Hydrocarbon Agency (AZU)<\/a>, and RE-Source CROATIA HUB<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A survey conducted among the participants of the Renewable Energy Days conference revealed a high level of satisfaction. According to the survey results, 75% of participants were extremely or very satisfied with the panel discussions held over the three days of the conference. Among the panel discussions, the one on thermal and electrical energy storage received the highest rating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organized lunches and dinners also received positive feedback, with over 80% of respondents expressing satisfaction. The musical surprise at the official opening of the conference was provided by popular singer Nina Badri\u0107, whose performance pleased 68% of the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The informal part of the conference program also drew attention from participants. The evening party was attended by 74% of respondents, and as many as 95% of them were extremely or very satisfied with the organization and choice of music. It\u2019s no surprise, then, that 38% of participants stayed until the very end of the party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the Renewable Energy Days conference received high marks from all respondents\u2014an incredible 100% of participants rated the conference 4 or 5, with an average satisfaction score of 4.78.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A significant value of the conference was the opportunity to arrange B2B meetings through a special mobile application available to all conference participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Renewable Energy Days 2024 conference highlighted the importance of coordination between various sectors and institutions to ensure the sustainable development of renewable energy sources in Croatia and to achieve ambitious goals by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
