Last week, two free workshops on the topic of energy transition were held on the island of Hvar. The first of them was held as part of the \u2018Good Energy Tour\u2019 of the Green Energy Cooperative, and the organizers of the event were the City of Hvar, the Island Movement, and the Green Energy Cooperative. The day after, the training \u2018Islands leading the energy transition\u2019 was held in Jelsa, organized by the Island Movement, the Municipality of Jelsa, the Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia, and the Green Energy Cooperative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to workshops, working meetings were held with the participation of the Mayor of Hvar Rikardo Novak, Head Nino Pijanovi\u0107, Senior Adviser for European and National Funds, Strategic Planning and Environmental Protection Jerina \u0106urin, representatives of the Committee for Renewable Energy Sources and Environmental Protection \u0160ime Fio and Ton\u010di Trbuhovi\u0107. The meetings discussed the financial means that will encourage the green transition and potential project proposals that the city of Hvar can apply for the announced tenders in the field of energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Thursday and Friday afternoon, public forums for citizens were held in the Arsenal Gallery and the Jelsa Municipality building, where the possibilities and the way of their inclusion in the energy transition through the development of small solar power plants and the organization of energy communities were presented. The presentation was given by Ivan Zokovi\u0107 from the Island Movement and Goran \u010ca\u010di\u0107 from the Green Energy Cooperative, and the residents of Hvar and Jelsa expressed interest in the development of projects and actively participated in the discussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conclusion of the two workshops is that the islanders have all the prerequisites for the implementation of solar power systems on the roofs of their houses and that they are ready for these investments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
