On the occasion of the St Nickolas Day Holiday on 6th November, the City of Varaždin is conferring a number of public recognition awards. Stjepan Talani is among those receiving the life achievement award, for his longstanding exceptional results in business management and development of the company Solvis, and particularly for the development and production of renewable energy source systems. Talan made a turnabout change in his life 12 years ago when he left his pharmacy business to enter a completely new branch, the solar industry – and succeeded in placing a Croatian company on the world map.
Solvis, the only Croatian producer of photo-voltage modules, has become as of May this year a member of the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia (OIEH).
