Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia in Community

Social responsibility is one of the fundamental determinants of Renewable Energy Sources of Croatia (RESC) and represents the association’s lasting commitment to the development of a quality and just society. We are aware that this is the key to a sustainable future, so we are always ready to help the community in which we operate with our commitment. In all our socially responsible activities, we strive to be a reliable partner that actively supports the development of the local and wider community through donations and initiatives aimed at the well-being of people and society.

We are continuously developing cooperation with various institutions and associations, and we pay special attention to young people. We want to create a platform for the future and encourage children to become aware from an early age of the importance of caring for the environment and responsibility towards the Earth. At our regional conference ‘Days of Good Wind’ through a financial donation, but also by joining the program, we gave the wind in the back to the International Children’s Festival Šibenik, and we continue with similar activities in the years ahead.

The beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and two major earthquakes in Croatia marked 2020, so we intensified our humanitarian activities in this area even more. Our members have donated medical equipment and funds to local communities where their projects worth half a million kuna are located. We also supported the initiative of the International Women Club (IWC) in the purchase of the necessary equipment for the Clinic for Infectious Diseases Dr. Fran Mihaljević, with whom we continue our cooperation and our commitment to collecting humanitarian aid for the area of Banija. Given that our members have the knowledge and equipment needed for sustainable renovation and construction, our ultimate goal is to support the installation of solar panels on homes in the quake-affected area.
